Mommy and Daddy's Day with A Cosy Christmas at Bridget's Bicycle Bakery by Alex Brown

I wanted to toss in a quick Mommy and Daddy's Day post before the holidays...after all, moms and dads love to read, too. Okay, so this one is probably leaning heavily toward the mom-side, but have no fear! Because I have a Dad's leaning one popping up here too.
Anyway, this one is for all romance fans out there and is from a best-selling author. I've started to dive into this one but am not through it yet (amazing how unexpected things keep popping up like drains being clogged, tires needing replacing, forgotten Christmas cards needing to be sent). So, you'll have to beat me to this one.

Bridget smiled to herself, certain she could see one of the stars twinkling extra brightly in that moment as if to acknowledge her wish and convince her that, yes, Mulberry-On-Sea was just the place they all needed to be. Surrounded by those happy memories of holidays and special times where nothing bad ever happened…

Finding yourself without a home in the weeks before Christmas would break most people, but for Bridget Carrington it’s a chance to start again. Mulberry-On-Sea has always been her happy place and she’s hoping it can work its magic this festive season and heal her family after a difficult year.

Now, as the community wraps Bridget and her children in its warm embrace, she starts to feel like herself again. With a new business, kids who are starting to smile, and the promise of a second chance at love, Bridget’s holiday season might just be a happy ever after…

And here she is...

Alex Brown is a No.1 bestselling author of twelve books including The Carrington’s Collection, The Great Christmas Knit Off, The Secret of Orchard Cottage and A Postcard From Italy. Her books are loved worldwide and translated into fifteen languages.

Cupcakes At Carrington’s and The Secret of Orchard Cottage both reached the No.1 spot in the Amazon UK Kindle chart. Cupcakes At Carrington’s, The Great Christmas Knit Off, The Great Village Show and The Secret of Orchard Cottage are all UK Top 50 Paperback Bestsellers and voted Kobo Best Books of 2014 and 2016.

Alex lives by the sea in South East England with her family and two glossy black Labradors and when she isn’t writing she can be found walking on the beach, singing in her choir or enjoying a pornstar martini cocktail.
