MY TIDBITS

With a warmth to snuggle up into and enjoy, this book celebrates mothers and the love that they give.

Written in an easy-to-read poetry form, the wonderful moments mothers share with their children are presented. Ranging from a simple song to rocking to sleep to shared activities, the spectrum is broad and offers something for almost every young listener to relate to. The versus flow very smoothly and are understandable for young listeners.

The illustrations offer a lovely diversity, which also covers a broad spectrum of directions. These hold a slight artistic flair and are well done. They let the love and warmth radiate, and will have young listeners picturing their own caring moments with their mothers.

It makes a nice read-aloud and especially works well for those more calming moments.

And here she is...

Anne Delgado is a children’s book author, musician, educator and mom. She is endlessly fascinated by the parallels between music-making and storytelling and believes that a good story should immerse readers in the beauty of language, learning, laughter and self-discovery. When she’s not writing, teaching, or performing, she can be found attending in-home theatrical productions put on by her wonderfully spirited daughters, collecting seashells at the beach, listening to music and of course, reading. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Chula Vista, California. Learn more at
