MY TIDBITS

Horses, ponies and friendship weave together to create a lovely tale.

Lily loves horses, especially her own pony, China. When it is injured, it nearly breaks her heart...and threatens to destroy her family's pocketbook. To make matters worse, the injury isn't as clear-cut as first believed. So, not only does that mean more cost and heart-ache, the entire treatment may still leave China lame. Luckily, Lily has loving friends at her side, but that doesn't mean the decisions left before her are going to be easy.

Young horse and pony fans are going to adore this series. Not only does it involve horses and ponies, but the author weaves in facts and information in a very natural way. The appreciation for these animals radiates from every page. But it's also about family and friendship. Both of these are wholesome and true even when all parties don't see eye-to-eye. Even with the tough decisions at the end, which pull at the heart, it remains a lovely read.
